I thought it was a nearly perfect ST movie, but it left me yearning for just a little more footage of Borg vs. Starfleet battle. I just loved seeing the Enterprise swoop in there and take the hits for the Defiant. Beautiful shot!

One of my faves. Great action, AWESOME MUSIC, and really cool to see the birth of the light speed travel. I loved the futher relationship between Picard and Data, plus Picard finally dealing with his repressed anger toward the borg. Great line "Captain Ahab has to go hunt his whale" Love it (9)

Hi everyone,
Probably the top 2 Star Trek movie so far.
I felt it was a bit underdone in terms of how little budget they had ($45 mil). The space battle versus the Borg cube felt too short.
Also, why always just the 1 cube? This was the chance for them to go to town and maybe have 2 or 3 Borg cubes to up the action.
All in all, good fun!
Cheers
Al

Cheers Al Mostly Cuz anymore than one cube would be very difficult, if not impossible for starfleet to stop. Remember that it was only through Picards knowledge of the Borg that they were able to stop them, and if wasn't there, the Borg would have just cut on through

I really enjoyed First Contact. From Troi telling Riker not to tell her how to conduct her counseling ..."It's a very primitive culture." And she's out like a light from "something called Tequila." To Lily's line: "It's my first ray gun." But most of all, I wish there hadn't been a scheduling conflict for Tom Hanks playing Cochrane. Hope he does play an alien in ST:XI.
