One of my all time favorites! I loved Spock in this film, the relations among the crew, and I enjoyed the buildup to the battle with the prototype bird of prey.
Oh! and the Excelsior in action was a treat!

Really enjoyed this film, and it had to be good after the last one. Great moments for the crew, great simily to the real life events of the time. It was a great way to end the series, and while it was corny, I still love "second star to the right, and straight on till morning." All movie series should end as well. (9)

To what real life events are you referring? The callapse of the soviet union?

brilliant film, and a fine farewell to the original cast. loved the torpedo bit, and the 'whodunnit' kept the plot going.

The real life events mirror the accident of Chernobyel( if that is how you spell it) and the breaking down of the Berlin Wall and the crumbling Soviet Union. Hope that anwsers the question.

I believe I can speak my mind about this movie without getting beaten with my own limbs. I love it, cherish it, adore it, and so forth. This is the last movie with the original TOS crew, and it's my favorite. And that is because it's the only one that I can feel like crying the whole way through with complete reason. This is it folks, no more. Adios. The music is wonderful, and I love the story.
The only part I have a problem with is when Jim says "Let them die." That is not Kirk, and I think that Bill's looks should have been left in.
I'll give this movie a 10.0, and will not apologize for this. I am standing by what I think of this movie, and will not be ganged uo on of you people have changed your minds on how you view this film.
It is what I have left to remember the cast by, and that's final.

Well, let my break the feud and say that I totally see how you could give this a 10, and on certain days I give it that rating myself!
