I have been on here for a couple months now and I was just wondering, where is everyone from? I am from a little town in New York right outside of Buffalo..... and how long have you been into Star Trek, for myself it was something that my father started with me when I was younger, it was always on during dinnertime and thats how he got me into it. Anyone else? I wasn't on the previous board so I was just curious.

good idea for a topic *commendation*
Im from a little village in england. As for how long have i been watching star trek probably for the last 7 years. I remember my friend kept on going on about this TV show and this character called Q, so i thought that i would watch it just to shut him up and so that i knew what he was on about. So i watched the voyager episode "Deathwish" and ive been hooked ever since. Its partly his infulence that ive even become interested in the new Dr. Who with Christopher Eccleston, well now david tennant. The dalek episodes were fantastic although the emporor of the daleks looked very cheesy.

That would be so cool to live in England. How does the weather fair up there? Anything has got to be better than what Buffalo is known for, snow. We get one major storm that wipes us out once every 8 years or so and now we are known for our snow. It really doesn't get that bad; maybe I am just used to it. A friend of mine from a state down south says if they get one inch of snow that aticks they shut down the town. Is there anyone else from towns like that? I would love to live there except I may be afraid to drive around everyone who isn't used to driving when there is snow on the ground. Have a good morning everyone.

well the weathers been ok lately but we've just had a couple of scorching weeks which werent to pleasant Winters where i live we usually get about half-3/4 m of snow. Its great tho because whenever the snow hits and theres a 'whiteout' everyones sent home from school and best of all it stops after half an hour, i remember last year tho it was awful. By the time i had gotten half way home with a friend there was a fair bit of snow lying on the ground making walking difficult and that went on for ages. It was like a blizzard. Im hoping for more of the same weather this year Snowball fights are always fun no matter how old or young you are

I live in the Midwestern United States. Needless to say, there isn't much to say about it. I go to university here.
We have our share of nasty winter weather as well, but I think you guys up in northern NY have it worse.
As for Star Trek: I've been watching Star Trek ever since 1989 when TNG came out. I was very young at the time, and my parents would sometimes let me stay up and watch. ;D

Oh don't you guys get me started on winter !!! I live in Canada Newbrunswick... And it gets so cold here and the worst part is it lasts for so long... It lasts much longer then the summer. And the summer is so very short.
And as for StarTrek I don't remember the first episode I saw, but I do remember watching TOS with my dad at a very early age, and I just started getting addicted... I would watch it one episode of Startrek, then wait late at night until it repeated. But I'm over that now... ha ha

Well, well, location.... I live in Bulhead City Arizona, Next to Laughlin, Nevada, which is about 1.5 hours from Las Vegas. As for the heat, Watson you have no idea what scorching heat is . I have been watching Star Trek longer than I can remember.... My parents used to watch it, so instead of cartoons, I had Star Trek!
